This sound system received pretty good reviews so I was excited to try it with my Samsung tv. I’m disappointed. There’s maybe a little clarity of sound but not a real noticeable difference. There’s not a lot of options to try but I’ll continue to play around with it with hopes that it improves

It’s 11/26/24 just unboxed and hooked this up. Not sure if I got a bad subwoofer, but this doesn’t shake a wall. My old $99 Vizio soundbar had better base. I need great sound during action movies and this one doesn’t cut it. The actual soundbar is great, subwoofer is trash. If you need bass like me, pass on this one

Soundbar and woofer work great. The small speakers are the wrong model to pair with this so don’t bar you need SWA-9200s small speakers. They send 9500s. And they won’t exchange them. Don’t buy the bundle, just get soundbar and included subwoofer

In my 40 years of adult life, I have never cared about the sound of music or the sound of my television. Finally, I decided I had lived long enough to upgrade from listening to the television audio from the back of my set to the sound bar with booster. It was easy to connect, but instructions were lacking for set up. I’m a tech savvy person, but it took me a while and several YouTube videos to figure it out. Once hooked up, I was not wow’d by the sound. I’m not quite sure what I was expecting, except that perhaps I thought I was going to be fully satisfied with the sound. I give the sound a ‘meh’. If I had to go back and do it all again, I would not purchase this unit. But since I am a person that doesn’t really care that much about sound, I will keep it rather than break it down, box it up and send it back. UPDATE after 1 month: sound has developed an echo.

I purchased this to go with a Samsung TV that has poor sound from the TV speakers. This was a big improvement but it didn't work out to be an ideal solution. I was hoping to use the original TV remote to control the sound rather than have multiple remotes to keep track of. The problem is that this soundbar has only 2 methods to connect. 1. Bluetooth - TV was too old to have a Bluetooth connection. 2. Digital Optical cable - this worked but I was unable to control sound via the TV remote. I had to use the seperate soundbar remote. As stated in the description, the soundbar does not have a HDMI input so you cannot use the HDMI arc-out from your TV. If that's not a problem then it's probably a good solution for the price. I would probably choose something with a HDMI input if I were to replace this soundbar.
